Jackson-Milton 59, Lordstown 43

NORTH JACKSON

Ashley Totani led the Bluejays (2-0) with 21 points while Michaelina Terranova added 20 more as Jackson-Milton pulled away in the final quarter. Kaylynn Higinbotham led the Red Devils (1-1) with 12 points in the losing effort while Jordan Beach and Kellee Applegate both chipped in with nine points.

Bristol 38, Maplewood 27

Kendyl Switzer’s 12 points and Hailee Elza’s 11 points were enough to power Bristol to a road win over Maplewood. Switzer also hit the only two 3-pointers of the game. Maplewood was led by Heidi Stiffler’s 14 points in defeat.

Columbiana 56, McDonald 30

COLUMBIANA

Taylor Hall had 19 points, including two 3-pointers to lead Columbiana (3-0) to a comfortable win over McDonald. Alexis Cross added 11 points, seven rebounds and six steals. The Blue Devils (2-1) were led by both Britney Smith and Abbie Matig who each scored seven points.

Austintown Fitch 86, Liberty 32

LIBERTY

Sabria Hunter scored 24 points in Fitch’s blowout win over Liberty. Allexis Sallee added 14 while Mikaela Hibbs also scored 10 in a game where the Falcons led 26-4 after the first quarter. Liberty’s China Tate had all but six of the Leopards’ points.

Springfield 47, Lowellville 31

LOWELLVILLE

Haley LaMorticella led the Tigers (2-1) with 15 points in the win while Marlie Applegarth added 13 points of her own. Lowellville (1-1) was led by Maddie Warren, who led all scorers with 16 points. She scored more than half of the Rockets’ points.

Mineral Ridge 59, Campbell 35

MINERAL RIDGE

Hannah Breedlove scored 17 to lead the Rams to a win over Campbell. Alexa Harkins added 13 to the winning cause as well. Campbell’s Selena Lopez led all scorers with 27.

Brookfield 66, Pymatuning Valley 36

BROOKFIELD

Bailey Drapola led all scorers with 23 points while Kenzie Drapola added 18 in the comfortable win for Brookfield. Tori Sheehan added 14 points in the win. Pymatuning Valley was led by Madison Hurst’s 12 points.

Crestview 38, Southern 24

COLUMBIANA

Alexis Gates and Emma Smith each scored 16 points in Crestview’s win over Southern. Gates also led the Rebels (1-1) with seven rebounds and four assists. Southern (0-2) was led by Anna Sevek’s double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Riley Felton led everyone with 13 rebounds.

Champion 60, Mathews 48

VIENNA

Molly Williams scored 17 for Champion to lead the Golden Flashes to a road win. Abby White contributed 15 points while Allison Smith added 13. Katarina Schubert scored 17 for Mathews while Paige Sponsler scored 12 points.

Badger 65, Warren JFK 59

Madison Karr and Paige Kramar each scored 15 points to lead Badger (2-0). For JFK Antonella LaMonica scored 16 points and Taejan Burney added 13.

Western Reserve 45, South Range 43

CANFIELD

Gabbie Baranowski scored 16 points and Maddy Owen scored 11 to lead Western Reserve (2-1). Owen also had four steals. Alexis Hughes had six points, seven rebounds, four steals and four assists. Madison Durkin led South Range (0-2) with 17 points.

Cincinnati La Salle 14, Massillon Perry 7

COLUMBUS

Cincinnati La Salle rallied to beat Massillon Perry for a third straight title on Thursday night at Ohio Stadium. Tre’Sean Smith scored on a 12-yard run with 3:46 left in the game to secure it. His run to the right pylon completed a six-play, 65-yard drive for the 13-2 Lancers, who beat Perry 42-0 in last year’s title game. Smith had 124 yards on 17 carries. Perry (12-3) took a 7-0 lead with 5:56 left in the first quarter when Dominick Brown intercepted a Griffin Merritt pass and went untouched 17 yards. La Salle pounded out a 12-play, 84-yard drive that consumed 5:15 to tie the score at 7 with 2:53 left in the third quarter.
