CHS wins first place at speech and debate tournament

Approximately 400 students from 20 schools competed at The John Revezzo Invitational Tournament hosted by Niles McKinley High School on Nov. 12. As a team, Canfield finished in first place.

Individuals from Canfield earning recognition were: in Drama, Jack Cross (first place) and Michael Stefanick (second place); in Duo, Madison Deiley and Jared Cross (third Place); in Humor, Zachary Bernat (second place); in Informative, Alexis Heldreth (fifth place) and Jordan Audia (sixth place); in International Extemp, Smaranda Soloman (sixth place); in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Lindsay Davis (first place), Max Lee (second place), Bobby Long (third place) and Jessica Lee (sixth place); and in Original Oratory, Taylor Mead (first place).
