State St., Salem. “The Snow Queen” is a musical adaptation of the Hans Christian-Anderson classic that was the inspiration behind the blockbuster film “Frozen.” Salem’s production is directed by Joanna Andrei, with musical direction by Matthew White. The musical features an original pop-rock score, urban steam-punk flair, whimsical set design and the enigmatic Snow Queen.
