Golf classic benefits Hospice of the Valley

CANFIELD

Hospice of the Valley will benefit from Tippecanoe Golf Classic planned Sept. 12 at Tippecanoe Country Club, 5870 Tippecanoe Road.

The four-person scramble will begin at 11 a.m. with registration, driving range and lunch. A shotgun start is set for noon. Golfers will meet for cocktails in the clubhouse at 5 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner, auction and awarding of skill prizes. Cost is $500 for a foursome and $125 for a single. Both include golf, lunch and dinner; dinner only is $40.

Hospice provides quality, compassionate, end-of-life care.

Golf classic event committee members are Leslie Coalmer, Nancy Sullivan, Louann Sutton-Kutlick, Andy Zabel, Liz McGarry and Paula Durkin. Bob Ferraro is event chairman and Dr. James Kravec, honorary chairman.
