CANFIELD FAIR | Torrential rain sends fair-goers scampering for cover

CANFIELD — A torrential downpour hit the Canfield fairgrounds late this afternoon, sending visitors running into tents and under awnings.

The rain is expected to continue into tonight, but should clear up in time for the opening of Day No. 2 of the fair on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
