Police: Officer, civilian hurt after crash in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (AP) — A Cleveland police officer has been hospitalized after a crash.

The wreck occurred around 10:30 p.m. Monday when police say the cruiser was struck on the front passenger’s side by a silver car that had front end damage.

Police haven’t disclosed the conditions of the officer or the driver of the other car. Both were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation.
