Sylvia andAntonio Crespo celebrate 60th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Antonio and Sylvia Crespo celebrated their 60th anniversary on Aug. 6 with a family dinner at Alberini’s in Boardman.

The couple have seven children: Antonio (Maria) Crespo Jr., Myrna Crespo and Lindy Rivera, all of Austintown; Nancy (Michael) Laboy of Campbell; Iris Crespo of Youngstown; Sylvia (Berle) Vircks of Cortland; and Hector (Denise) Crespo of Ashburn, Va. The Crespos have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The former Sylvia Olivero and Mr. Crespo were married Aug. 4, 1956, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Candelaria, Puerto Rico.

Mrs. Crespo is a homemaker, and Mr. Crespo retired from LTV Steel in Youngstown in 1986 and worked for the Water Department of Youngstown until 1999. The Crespos attend Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Campbell.
