SEPTEMBER

10 — Lordstown High School’s 5K run/walk at 10 a.m. at the Lordstown Apple Cider Festival. Advance registration costs $17 and must be postmakred by Sept. 5. Day-of-race registration at Lordstown High will cost $20. For more information, call 330-824-2540.

10 — First Strasburg 5k run/walk, a fund-raiser for the Strasburg Lions Scholarship Fund and the Strasburg Food Bank. Entry fee is $20 for pre-registered participants, $25 on race day and $10 for runners under 18. The event starts at the Strasburg-Franklin Local School District Administration building with a Kids Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. followed by the 5k at 9:30 a.m.

17 — Brittany Szwedko Memorial Run 5K Run and dog walk at Austintown Park, 6000 Kirk Rd., Austintown. Entry fee is $30. Dog walk only is $20.

24 — TMH Pink Ribbon 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile run. Races begin at Trumbull Memorial Hospital Oncology Center, 1353 East Market St., Warren. Entry fee is $15 in advance or $20 the day of the race. Call 330--841-9399 for more information.

OCTOBER

1 — The Dam Run at Lake Milton State Park. Cost is $25 on or before Sept. 16, $30 Sept. 17 through race day. Call Halliday’s Winery at 330-654-9463 for more information.
