The visitors battled back to make it 26-21 in the second quarter before Lisbon pulled away in the fourth quarter. Collin Sweeney combined for five touchdowns. Lisbon had 287 yards rushing.

Maddie Johns led the Cardinals with 15 points, 14 kills and four aces. Jenny Smith had 17 assists, Morgan Cleevely had 15 digs and Natalie Maras had seven blocks. Salem’s Chloe Chereshe had 16 kills and Elizabeth Aukerman put up 10 assists. Caitlyn Marx had five blocks.

The Tigers’ Faith Grant had 11 kills and four blocks and Alexis Notar had a team-high 10 points and 10 assists. Danni Harigan aced three serves and Cassie Murcko had five digs. For the Bulldogs, Brysten Trosky made six kills while Marlaina Frye contributed eight assists and scored six points. Marie Jones made four kills.

Brookfield 25-25, East Palestine 20-16

Bailey Drapola had eight kills, 11 digs, and three blocks for Brookfield. Kenzie Drapola put up 19 assists, eight digs and six points. Christine Lowers scored eight points and aced three serves. For the Bulldogs, Frye and Jones each made three kills. Jenn Rhoades made seven points and Madyson Pichett made five assists.

Howland rallied after dropping the first game. Faith Grant put up 12 kills, nine points, four blocks and four aces. Cassie Murcko 12 kills and nine digs, Kathhryn Summerfield dished out 22 assists.

Brookfield’s Tori Sheehan led the Warriors with 15 kills and 10 blocks. Bailey Drapola had 13 digs and 11 kills and Kenzie Drapola dished 27 assists.

Whitney Wallace scored nine points and had 17 digs. Alise Wallace added 18 assists and Natalie Zuchowski added 12 kills for West Branch.

Evan Purnell and Ben Semrau scored on goals the two assisted from each other. Golgoski scored for Garfield. Kaden Myers had eight saves for Newton Falls.

MINERAL RIDGE

LaBrae’s Nathan Conley and Trenotn Bacorn scored. Mineral Ridge rallied thanks to a hat-trick from Trey Richards and a penalty shot from Danny Linebaugh. Rams keeper Will Cupan had 6 saves and Vikings goals Brandon Lomax made eight saves.

BOARDMAN

Poland’s Jessica Miller and Boardman’s Alisa Earvin traded hat tricks. Earvin got assists from Cara Higgins and Sklylar Bryant with one each. Poland’s netminder Rachel Pugh made nine saves and Boardman’s Julia Yauger had eight saves.

SHAKER HEIGHTS

Anita Mancini scored two goals and Taylor Meier added another. Elizabeth Pilolli and Chloe Kalina each recorded an assist. Goalie Olivia Van Devender made seven saves.
