Kelsey Nichole Jackson became the wife of Kurt Elliot Emch July 30 at The National Aviary in Pittsburgh. The 6 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Ross Carter, brother-in-law of the bride.

Mrs. Emch is the daughter of Steve and Barbara Jackson of San Antonio, and Mr. Emch is the son of Ronald and Barbara Emch of Hubbard.

The bride wore a mermaid stretch crepe gown with a cowl back.

The matron of honor was Amanda Jackson-Carter, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sara Kral, Karen Marshall and Emily Baum. Jillian Mansson served as the flower girl. The attendants wore sunset coral dresses.

James Joplin served as the best man. Todd and Derek Emch, brothers of the groom, and Joe Kovack were the groomsmen. Ring bearers were Owen and Connor Emch, nephews of the groom.

The bride graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is a public relations manager for Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon.

The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in fine arts and is a user-interface designer for Show Clix in Pittsburgh.

The couple reside in Pittsburgh after a wedding trip to Costa Rica.
