St. Michael's Garden Guild sets fundraiser with florists

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR St. Michael’s Garden Guild will sponsor its annual fundraiser, “An Evening with The Five Florists,” Sept. 27 at St. Michael’s Family Life Center in Canfield. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the program at 6:30 featuring demonstrations by florists, displays and light refreshments. Promoting the event, in front from left, are Jennifer Sayavich of Sweet Arrangements in Youngstown, wedding floral designs, and Diane Durrant of Michael’s Arts and Crafts in Boardman, Halloween designs; and in back, Marie Borocz of Homestead Florist and Gifts in Girard, fall and Christmas designs; Mary Ann Sylvestri of Casa Del Fiore in Canfield, Christmas; and Kathleen Clark of Burkland Flowers in Boardman, spring designs. Tickets include a chance to win a floral arrangement. Advance tickets are $20 and at the door, $25. Tickets are available at St. Michael Church office or by mail to the church, 300 N.
