Man injured in Columbiana County car crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol in Lisbon is investigating a crash that injured a Youngstown man about 3 p.m. Thursday on state Route 9 in Butler Township, Columbiana County.

According to the report, Jesse Hill, 34, of Kensington, was southbound on Route 9 and drove off the right side of the road to avoid hitting a vehicle emerging from a private driveway. Hill re-entered the roadway and struck the vehicle of James Mosier, 49, of Youngstown, who was ejected from his vehicle when it overturned.

Mosier was transported to an unspecified hospital to be treated for his injuries, and no charges have been filed at this time. The accident is under investigation.
