Five year sentence sought for man who robbed mentally challenged woman

YOUNGSTOWN

Prosecutors are recommending a sentence of five years for Kevin Stoffer, 19, who pleaded guilty Friday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to charges of aggravated robbery and robbery.

Stoffer is accused of using a knife March 1 to rob a mentally challenged woman at a city trailer park.

Judge Lou D'Apolito will sentence Stoffer at a later date.
