Yellow Brick Place hosts fashion show

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Yellow Brick Place hosted its annual fashion show and luncheon at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman. The event sold more than 240 tickets and featured a 50-50 raffle, basket auction, fashion show and food. Models wore clothing from Talbots and The Children’s Loft. Proceeds from the event will be used to support YBP, a local nonprofit cancer wellness center. All services provided by the organization are non-medical and free; they include a resource library, massages, reiki therapy, educational programs, support groups and short term counseling. YBP also is a host site for the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good Feel Better” program, and has a Wig Bank available for those who are undergoing treatments.
