LIBERTY
Adeina D. Biblis, 22, of Sharon, Pa., suffered nonlife-threatening injuries in an 11:05 p.m. crash involving her car and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 Tuesday.
She was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
According to a report by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, she was driving her car west on I-80 in the left lane when she lost control and struck a tractor-trailer westbound in the right lane.
The car slid off the road, into the median and overturned. The truck driver, Robert Bryant, 58, of Canton, was not injured. The truck was later driven from the scene.
In the collision, the truck’s fuel tank ruptured, causing five to 10 gallons of diesel fuel to spill. The Trumbull County Haz-Mat team responded to clean up the spill.
Liberty police and fire departments assisted in the investigation. Biblis is charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and failure to maintain control.
