YOUNGSTOWN

Rylee Cole had seven kills, Harley Dioneff had 24 digs and Adi Hamilton had nine assists in Ashtabula Lakeside’s easy win over East. Jana Burke and Brianna Struggs each had a block in the win as well. Statistics for East were not reported.

Austintown Fitch 25-25-25, Struthers 10-17-14

STRUTHERS

Khala Cameron had four kills and Nichole Noday had six assists in Fitch’s sweep over Struthers. Gia Direnzo had 13 digs, Khala Cameron had five blocks and Lairie Simons had four aces in the win as well. Karli Shives had six kills, three aces and four digs for Struthers. Sophia Jackson added 15 assists in defeat.

East Palestine 25-17-25-25, Lisbon 19-25-23-21

EAST PALESTINE

Brysten Trosky had 15 kills and eight blocks while Marlaina Frye had 12 assists for East Palestine (1-1). Jenn Rhodes added 11 digs in the win. Kimmi Iviggers had 17 kills and 19 digs for Lisbon (0-2).

Cardinal Mooney 25-25-25, Brookfield 15-12-19

YOUNGSTOWN

Cardinal Mooney got 14 kills, four aces and two blocks from Autumn DeSantis and Maria Pelini added 30 assists. Ally Davenport made nine digs and five aces and Haylie Sapp made 22 digs for the Cardinals. Brookfield’s Olivia Vogel had 10 kills and five blocks and Kenzie Drapola added 21 assists.

Newton Falls 25-25-14-25, South Range 20-16-25-14

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Izzy Kline had 17 kills, nine blocks and two aces for Newton Falls (2-0) while Kayla Barreca racked up 15 kills herself. Autumn Hutson had 20 digs and Elizabeth Boome had 31 assists. Codi Taylor led South Range (2-2) with 12 kills, six digs and a block. Cara Mason added nine kills, five blocks and two digs in defeat.

Canfield 25-25-25, Poland 17-15-15

POLAND

Jen Eich had six kills and 14 assists for the Bulldogs while Logan Kountz added five kills. Layne Black had 16 digs in the win. At the net, Jillian Penman, Sydney Phillips, Shelby Berend and Jessica Ferrick all had four block assists while Sydney Phillips had three solo blocks. Gina Cooper had three aces for Poland.

Howland 25-25-25, Niles 13-14-23

NILES

Cassie Murcho had 18 kills and eight digs for Howland (1-1) in their three-set win. Faith Grant had 12 kills as well as four service aces. Alexis Notar had 20 assists and 10 service points. Julia Gray added eight digs in the win. Emma Dellinger had 14 digs for Niles (0-1) and Myah Busse had seven kills.

West Branch 25-25-25, Campbell 10-19-5

CAMPBELL

Elise Wallace led the Warriors with 21 points and five aces in a West Branch (3-1) sweep. Delaney Rito had nine kills while Natalie Zuchowski added eight in the win. Claire Smith and Zuchowski each had three blocks. Statistics for Campbell were not reported.

GIRLS SOCCER

South Range 5, Crestview 4

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Casey Lindstrom led the Raiders with three goals and an assist, Caragyn Yanek scored a goal and Hannah Ferenchak scored on a corner kick for South Range (2-1). The Rebels were led by Jillian Beard’s three goals and an assist. Kassie Seabolt scored the other goal for Crestview.

Niles 7, Edgewood 0

ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP

Hannah Ward led the way with two goals while Jaycee Ward, Isabella Reigle, REnee Messer, Alissa Reichard and Alyssa Steffey all found the back of the net as well. Ward added two assists while Kacie Cera, Ward and Steffey set up their teammates as well.

AUSTINTOWN

Fitch got a goal each from Brittany McFall, Jordan Evans, Camryn Constance and Lauren Dolak, Falcons’ goalie Jocelyn Gabriel made six saves. Jessica Miller scored both of Poland’s goals and Rachel Pugh made eight saves in defeat.

Howland 1, Kent Roosevelt 0

KENT

Sara Ciletti scored the lone goal on a free kick at 35:59 and Kamryn Buckley made seven saves as the Tigers (1-1) shut out the RoughRiders (0-2). Kent Roosevelt’s Liz Hartung made nine saves. JV: Howland, 1-0.

Cardinal Mooney 5, Boardman 2

BOARDMAN

Liz Philibin and Breanna Evans each had two goals in the Cardinals’ victory and Carol Kay had the other. Breanna Evans and Lexy Saunders each had an assist. Boardman’s goals were scored by Skyler Bryant and Alyssa Earyin.

WARREN

Colin Burdette opened up the scoring 10 minutes into the game before Khaled Kassem knocked home a penalty just before halftime to double the score. Michael Van Such scored 12 minutes into the second half and Bashar Rasoul added the final tally two minutes later.

South Range 1, Crestview 0

COLUMBIANA

Reese Babuder scored the game’s lone goal off an assist from Brandon Youngs. Raiders goalie Luke Schaefer made six saves for the shutout win, including a penalty shot in the 59th minute. Crestview netminder Costen Santelmo made eight saves in defeat.

Maplewood 8, Mathews 1

VIENNA

Maplewood (8-1, 2-0 NAC) cruised to a win over the Mustangs behind Tommy Rink’s four goals. Michael Stamm added two of his own and Matthew Sheely and Peyton Weaver chipped in a goal apiece. Max Schubert scored the long goal for Mathews.

Lordstown 7, Grand Valley 1

LORDSTOWN

Jordan Beyah and David Ahrens each scored two goals and Logan Reid, Chris Eakins and Dominic D’Amico each scored once as the Red Devils beat the Mustangs. D’Amico and Eakins each had two assists. Lordstown goalie Collin Himes had four saves, including one on a penalty kick. Grand Valley’s Cam Atwell scored unassisted. Mustangs goalies Robert Midgett and Justin Shahan combined 17 saves.

Late Monday

Warren Harding 7, Badger 0

WARREN

Thomas Malacky and Ringwald each scored twice in the Raiders’ blowout of Badger. Faulk, Jordan and Stovell also scored. Van Winkle and Carter each had an assist. Callow and Rivera combined for the shutout while Hecker had 13 saves for Badger.
