Boardman woman faces OVI charge

A township woman will be arraigned this evening for operating a vehicle while impaired after a traffic stop this morning.

Police around midnight pulled over a car having difficulty staying inside the lanes on Southern Boulevard, according to a report. The driver, Christina Gay of New England Boulevard, smelled of alcohol and had red, watery eyes. Police arrested Gay after she failed a field-sobriety test and refused to submit a breath or urine test.
