Man arraigned after 911 call leads to bust for suspected drug trafficking


CAMPBELL — A city man was arraigned today in Campbell Municipal Court after a 911 call from a 7-year-old boy led to a bust for suspected drug trafficking.

Jason Carter, 37, faces charges of drug trafficking, possession of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of criminal tools, endangering children, domestic violence and illegal possession of weapons. A judge set his bond at $25,000.

Officers responded to home on the 100 block of Rosary Drive about 6:46 a.m. Saturday after a 7-year-old boy called 911 to say his mother was being beaten up by her boyfriend.
