Photo contest deadline nears

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Amateur photographers are invited to display photographic skills and compete for a cash prize. Photos should be of Lawrence County through landscape, places, events and festivals.

Cash prizes of $200 for first place, $100 for second and $50 for third will be awarded. All entries will be judged by the Lawrence County Tourist Promotion Agency and used for the purpose of promoting tourism. Those entering the contest must be at least 16 years old. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 30.
