Wings & Wheels Fly-In is Saturday

NEW CASTLE, PA.

A ninth annual Wings & Wheels Fly-In car cruise and craft show is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the New Castle Municipal Airport, 406 Frank Farone Drive.

The event is sponsored by Haski Aviation, SkySupplyUSA.com and Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 117.

The event will include small planes and classic cars on display, craft show, basket auction and a Rapid Tappets 50-50 raffle.

Helicopter rides will be offered for $30 a person, and airplane rides for $20 with proceeds benefiting the Union Township Police Department’s police dog efforts. Food will be available for purchase, and EAA Chapter 117 will serve free corn on the cob.

Exhibits will include a classic T-51 airplane, RC models, two seminars and FlightJunkies Powered Paraglider. A safety seminar for pilots is set for at 11 a.m., and a drone seminar for general public will begin at 1.
