Gathering Place event, sponsored by Lord of Life Church, Canfield, will meet at 11 a.m. Sept. 12 at Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield. Assistant Scott Weamer, Canfield Police Department, will talk about personal safety. Lunch will be provided by the Woodlands. This is a free community outreach social program offered to all senior citizens on the second Monday of each month. A variety of games and activities are offered.
