SENIOR CITIZENS

Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet for a picnic 11:30 a.m. at Kyle Pavilion in Harding Park, Hubbard. Lunch will begin at noon. The committee comprises Sam Felde, Bob Henik and Vince Arquilla with other volunteers. The group will be officially resolved after the picnic.

Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will conduct their fall meeting Sept. 14 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. The social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:45 followed by the meeting and program. Susan Harris will preside. The newly retired educators will be introduced. Harris will present the program “YWCA—Young Women With Bright Futures.” This month’s community service project will be donations for Back to School items and monetary contributions for YWCA. All area retired educators are invited. Newly retired educators need to make reservations. To make a reservation, contact Harris, 330-618-1198 by Sept. 7.
