The Raiders gutted out a win in a close opening game, then cruised to a sweep of the Lions. Codi Taylor led South Range (1-0) with 18 attacks and eight kills and Cara Mason had seven attacks and five kills. Ashley McKee had 20 assists and six digs for the Raiders. Bonnie Flynn led Heartland with 21 kills and added 14 digs and Sydney Ogden finished with 12 assist and a team-high 27 digs. Hannah Brandenstein contributed 19 digs.
