Volunteering

Two Allstate agency owners in Calcutta recently earned $1,000 grants to support organizations where they volunteer. The Allstate Foundation awarded a $1,000 grant to each nonprofit the agent volunteers with. They include: Don Logan, of Calcutta, for Columbiana Booster Club Inc., Columbiana Youth Baseball, Crestview Football Touchdown Club and Little Clipper Football Association; and Jim Warneke, of Calcutta, for Boy Scouts Of America. Austintown Allstate agency owner Todd Stovall also recently earned a $1,000 grant to support the Austintown Little League Association. The three join thousands of Allstate agency owners around the country who support important social causes.

RESTAURANT

Moneki Huff, a server who has worked at Red Lobster for nine years, has been awarded the company’s top honor for hourly employees — the Team Member of the Year award. Huff is well-known at the Niles Red Lobster – among fellow workers and guests alike – for her work ethic and character. She is one of eight employees selected for the award from the more than 58,000 who work for Red Lobster throughout North America. The Team Member of the Year Award recognizes hourly workers who consistently demonstrate core values of respect, integrity, genuine caring, hospitality, teamwork, excellence and fun. The award also recognizes Huff’s ability to perform daily job duties at a high level and be a positive role model for fellow co-workers.
