Family dinner marks Morellas' 50th anniversary

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morella of New Middletown hosted a family dinner on Aug. 8 at Caffe Capri in Boardman to mark their 50th anniversary.

Their children are Tom Morella of New Middletown and Anthony and Trina Morella of Las Vegas, and grandchild Zachary Morella.

The Morellas will be traveling to Hawaii as part of their anniversary celebration, provided as a gift from their children.

Mr. Morella married the former Marilyn Matasek on Aug. 8, 1966, at St. Matthias Church in Youngstown.

The Morellas are members at St. Paul the Apostle Church.

Mrs. Morella worked in sales at Hills Department Store in Boardman. She is retired. Her husband is a teacher and dean of students for the Poland School System.
