AUGUST

Saturday SEmD YSU Women’s Basketball Outing at Knoll Run Golf Course. The fund-raising event will be a four-person scramble with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. The $340 entry fee for foursomes — or $85 for individuals — includes 18 holes of golf, a riding cart, skins and mulligans, breakfast, lunch, a buffet dinner and prizes. 28 — Fifth annual Fitch 76 & Friends Golf Outing at Lakeside Golf Course. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $70 per person or dinner only $20 per person. 10 — Answer to Cancer supporting the Joanie Abdu Comprehenzive Breast Care Center will have a shotgun sgtart at 8 a.m. at Bedford Trails. Event is in memory of Irene Nock and Joe Pollock. 17 — Mill Creek Metroparks Golf Course South Scramble. Shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Event benefits Fundacion Fuente De Amor Fountain of Love Foundation sponsored by Old North Church. Fuente De Amor hopes to start construction of a second Career Center in the spring of 2017. Cost is $85 per person. Hole sponsorships are $100. 26 — Warren Gridiron Club’s inaugural NFL Legends of Warren, Ohio Reunion & Celebrity Golf Outing at Trumbull Country Club. Breakfast and registration from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tee time at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $125 per person. A Legends Reunion Celebration Dinner is scheduled Sept. 25 from 7-11 p.m. at Trumbull Country Club and is $100 per person. The fee for events both days is $200. A public autograph session is set from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express, 135 Highland Terrace, Niles, in Niles. Autographs are $15 each or five for $50. Times are subject to change.
