TCBDD to join Encore for annual fashion show fundraiser

YOUNGSTOWN

Community members, individuals with developmental disabilities, fashion lovers and everyone who likes fun are encouraged to attend the second annual fashion show fundraiser organized by The Encore Shop of Liberty from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Refuge, 1155 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.

The show gives individuals the opportunity to experience the thrill of the runway while supporting a good cause by helping to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

The fashion show will feature 15 women from the Fairhaven Workshops as models with models from the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and will include brunch provided by Circulatory Centers and booths from a select group of vendors.

Tickets are $10 each, with all proceeds benefitting the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Fairhaven Foundation) and MCBDD. Attendees are asked to take a personal hygiene item as a donation.
