SR 46 ramp to Interstate 80 eastbound in Austintown is open

AUSTINTOWN — The ramp from state Route 46 to Interstate 80 eastbound has reopened after a six-week closure, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced today. That closing was part of a $91.5 million project to widen the interstate highway from four to six lanes between state Routes 46 and 193, which is scheduled for completion by late July 2018.

ODOT also announced that state Route 164 between state Routes 7 and 626 in Beaver Township will be closed from Thursday through Aug. 30 for emergency railroad crossing repairs.

The detour will be state Route 7 (Market Street) to state Route 165 to state Route 626.
