Mahoning County Grand Jury indicts 30

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County Grand Jury Thursday indicted 30 people including Martin Stewart, 48, Superior Avenue, on being a felon in possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

On Jul. 17, reports say officers pulled over a car about 11:35 p.m. that was reported stolen at McGuffey Road and Berkley Avenue driven by Stewart.

Reports said officers looked inside the car and saw the barrel of a rifle sticking out of a bed sheet. A records check found the gun was stolen.

The grand jury also indicted Matthew Sharp, 35, Oak Street, Leetonia on six counts of receiving stolen property.

The grand jury also indicted Patricia Denson, 54, Cornell Avenue, on two counts of felonious assault, menacing by stalking and menacing.
