Greatest leaders at halfway point of opening day; Pluchinsky sets record

Half the field is in at Mill Creek Golf Course in the opening round of Greatest Golfer of the Valley, and Brandon Pluchinsky did not disappoint.

The YSU grad who's been storming the Ohio am links this summer and just missed out on the U.S. Am being played this weekend fired a Greatest record 66.

But he's far from running away. A hot field in Men's Open is leading a great day of golf for 300 valley golfers.

Here are top scores as of 4 p.m. ALl scores will be posted by 10 p.m.
