“Miracle on Easy Street,SDRq Easy Street Productions, 865 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, will have a two-day dance audition Sunday and Aug. 27 for the annual Christmas extravaganza. Auditionees must attend both days. Day one will be choreography/learning progressions, and day two will be the audition with judges. Age recommendation for juniors and teens is 8 to 13 years; and senior, 13 and older, but you may audition out of your age range. Day one, for choreography, will take place Sunday, and auditions will include: junior/teen tap, noon to 1 p.m.; junior/teen jazz, 1 to 2:15; senior tap, 2:30 to 3:30; and senior jazz, 3:45 to 5. Day two, a judged audition, will take place Aug. 27; Junior/teen tap is noon to 12:45 p.m.; junior/teen jazz, 1 to 2; senior tap, 2:15 to 3; and senior jazz, 3:15 to 4:30. Arrive 15 minutes before your audition time. Miracle on Easy Street veterans must attend the audition for placements but are guaranteed a spot in the show. Miracle alumni are welcome to come to the audition or email if interested and cannot attend. Rehearsal period will begin Halloween weekend and end with the performances Dec. 15-18 at the DeYor Performing Arts Center. “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Towns-Women’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of Macbeth,SDRq directed by Nick Mulichak, Victorian Players, Victorian Players Theater, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, auditions at 3 p.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday. Needed are seven women to play the roles of ladies of the Dramatic Society trying to produce the classic tragedy for competition in the Welwyn Garden City Drama Finals. Three men are needed for the parts of the adjudicator, the producer and the stage manager. All parts are for age 16 and older. “Murder at Howard Johnson’s,SDRq Stage Left Players, Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way, Lisbon, with artistic direction from Bill Finley, auditions at 6 p.m. Aug. 28 and 29. One woman and two men are needed to play age 25-55, and they must have good comedic/slapstick timing to play the roles of Arlene, bored with husband Paul and lures him to the local “No-Tell Motel” where she and her dentist lover, Mitchell, plot to do him in.
