Old and new combine to win scramble

POLAND – The team of Gregg Strollo, Dick Marlowe, Bryan Horne and Brandon Pluchinsky captured top honors as the 7th annual “Greatest Golfer of the Valley” got under way Monday at the Lake Club.

Their team won the Millier Lite Greatest Scramble Championship by shooting 53.

The team of Nick Braydich, Brian Velasquez, Brendan Glosser and Nolan Snyder finished runner-up, three shots behind.

In all, 26 teams competed.

Strollo and Marlowe are long-time friends while Pluchinsky is a YSU golfer.
