TRUMP IN YOUNGSTOWN | Protesters say 'Love Trumps Hate'
YOUNGSTOWN — Protesters have gathered outside of Cushwa Hall on Youngstown State University's campus to spread a message against what they call Donald Trump's hateful campaign.
The "Love Trumps Hate" protest group includes members of the YSU's College Democrats, YSU's Latino Organization and others.
"We are looking to send a positive message that ultimately we disapprove with the rhetoric of the Trump campaign," said Jacob Schriner-Briggs, a member of the YSU College Democrats.
The protest group once again painted the rock outside of YSU's Kilcawley Center with "Love Trumps Hate" in protest.
The group had originally painted the rock Sunday, but it was repainted white overnight.
The Republican presidential nominee will deliver a “major foreign-policy address” at an invitation-only event today on YSU's campus.
