“The Gloved One,” a tribute to Michael Jackson, will be presented at 7 p.m. Aug. 27 and 28 at Boardman Perfoming Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave. It will feature Jackson impersonator Jay Michael Lucas, and local artists in a Prince tribute. There also will be a parody tribute by Michael Trapson of Philadelphia.

Tickets are $20 in advance at method8inc.com and by phone at 234-855-7540; and $25 at the door ($40 for VIP).

There will be a pre-party Aug. 26 from 5 to 10 p.m. at Austintown Skate Zone, 5240 Mahoning Ave. ($10).
