BRACEVILLE
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released the name of a woman who died after her car veered off the side of state Route 534 Saturday.
Crystal Adamson, 52, of Windham, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Troopers responded to the incident, which occurred near mile marker 7 about 7:50 p.m.
The OSHP’s preliminary investigation indicates Adamson lost control of her car while attempting to overtake another vehicle in a no-passing zone, causing her to veer off the side of the road and strike a utility pole and a tree before being ejected from her car.
Adamson was not wearing a seat belt, according to a news release.
The crash remains under investigation.
