Summer Olympics, Week 2 (7 p.m., NBC): Haven’t had your fill of Bob Costas just yet? The competition in Rio de Janeiro continues with more drama, more patriotic fervor and, yes, many more commercials. The week’s prime-time schedule kicks off with track and field finals, including the marquee men’s 100-meter race. Also, more women’s gymnastics, diving and beach volleyball.
“Chesapeake Shores” (9 p.m., Hallmark): In the new drama series “Chesapeake Shores,” a high-powered career woman (Meghan Ory) returns to her hometown, where she comes face-to-face with her past, including her high school sweetheart (Jesse Metcalfe), her headstrong father (Treat Williams) and her esteemed grandmother (Diane Ladd).
“The Night Of” (9 p.m., HBO): The summer’s most mesmerizing new drama, “The Night Of,” continues as prosecutor Helen Weiss (Jeannie Berlin) prepares for trial. Meanwhile, on Riker’s Island, the alliance between Naz (Riz Ahmed) and Freddy (Michael Kenneth Williams) grows stronger.

Orchestra offers free violin lessons
WARREN
The Warren Philharmonic Orchestra is offering free violin lessons to a select group of Trumbull County third- through seventh-grade students. An application form and related documents can be downloaded at warrenphilharmonic.org. Deadline to apply is Sept. 12, and lessons begin Sept. 25.
The WPO will lend each student an age-appropriate violin and provide individual, 20-minute lessons Sunday afternoons through June. Occasional group lessons and performance opportunities will be scheduled as well. The orchestra will provide printed music to the students at no cost.
