AUGUST

Friday — 18th annual Ankle & Foot Diabetes Golf Benefit at Pine Lakes Golf Club. Registration at 9:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start is at 10:30. The $100 fee per golfer includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner, beverages on the course, merchandise prizes and skill contests. Saturday — Eighth annual Canfield Wrestling Boosters Golf Outing at Mill Creek North Golf Course. Cost is $70 per player and includes greens fees, cart, lunch, beverages dinner, hole prizes and team prizes. Dinner only costs $35. 21 — Third annual UAW Local 1112 Recreation Committee Golf Outing at Bedford Trails Golf Course. Cost is $75 per player ($300 per team) and includes golf, cash prizes, two-tier payout, lunch and dinner.

27 — YSU Women’s Basketball Outing at Knoll Run Golf Course. The fund-raising event will be a four-person scramble with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. The $340 entry fee for foursomes — or $85 for individuals — includes 18 holes of golf, a riding cart, skins and mulligans, breakfast, lunch, a buffet dinner and prizes. 26 — Warren Gridiron Club’s inaugural NFL Legends of Warren, Ohio Reunion & Celebrity Golf Outing at Trumbull Country Club. Breakfast and registration from 8 to 9 a.m., with tee time at 9:30. Cost is $125 per person. A Legends Reunion Celebration Dinner is scheduled from 7-11 p.m. Sept. 25 at Trumbull Country Club at a cost of $100 per person. The fee for events both days is $200.
