Golf outing to support Haitians

LOWELLVILLE

Youngstown State University Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2017 is hosting a golf outing at 2 p.m. Aug. 27 at Knoll Run Golf Course, 1421 Struthers-Coitsville Road.

The cost for teams of four is $300, which includes golfing, cart rental, dinner, drinks and a T-shirt. A dinner-only option costs $25 per person.

T-shirts will be available for $10. There also will be raffle baskets and a 50-50 raffle. Donations are welcome.

The deadline for registration is today to Ben at btveatch@student.ysu.edu.

Funds will be used to support S.T.A.N.D., Staying True to America’s National Destiny, which will provide physical therapy services to people in Haiti and classes to help students prepare for national boards testing.
