Spanish Heritage Festival set for weekend in downtown

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Spanish Heritage Festival will be Saturday and Sunday on East Federal Street, between Market and Champion streets, downtown.

Hours are 4 to 11 p.m. Friday and noon to 11 p.m. Sunday.

The event will include live entertainment, food, crafts, dancing and activities for all ages.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 4 p.m. Friday and will be followed by a full lineup of music from the Latin Jazz band, Trio Riqueno and DJ Kenny Ken from Rookery Radio.

Latin and American food will be sold, including Puerto Rican food by Papa’s restaurant. Crafts and merchandise will also be for sale.
