Mahoning County Grand Jury indicts 26
YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County Grand Jury Thursday indicted 26 people including Akeem Brown, 26, on charges of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and being a felon in possession of a firearm, all with firearm specifications.
Brown is charged with the death of Anthony Bianco, 51, who was found in a burning car July 15 at Seifert and Knapp avenues on the East Side.
The grand jury also indicted Liao Xiuhua, 59, Market Street, Boardman, on promoting prostitution and prostitution with forfeiture specifications.
On Jul. 12, Boardman Township police executed a search warrant related to a prostitution investigation at Tuina Spa, according to a police report.
Through an interpreter, Xiuhua reportedly told police that she traveled to the United States from her home in China to answer an advertisement looking for a spa worker.

The grand jury also indicted Brandon Liggens, 36, Cordova Avenue, on two counts of felonious assault, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, tampering with evidence, two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, assault and two counts of endangering children.
On Jul.3, Reports said Liggens was arrested after a Campbell police cruiser rammed the car he was driving at Albert Street and Victor Avenue. And that came after Liggens rammed a cruiser driven by Youngstown Police Detective Sgt. Ed Kenney on McCartney Road as Kenney was trying to block traffic.
