Drug trafficking brings seven years in prison

YOUNGSTOWN

Judge Shirley Christian today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court sentenced a man to seven years in prison after he pleaded guilty to several drug trafficking charges.

Nathan Logan, 36, must serve at least four and a half years of his sentence before he is eligible for judicial release.

He was also ordered to forfeit over $30,000 cash and two vehicles. Prosecutors said he and five other people were selling cocaine from 2012 to 2014.

Judge Christian also told Logan she was puzzled as to why he would bring his young daughter to court knowing he was going to prison.
