Youngstown FOP plans Memorial Run

Youngstown Fraternal Order of Police 28 will host its sixth annual Fallen Officer Memorial Run on Sunday, starting at Quaker Steak and Lube, 435 Boardman-Poland Road.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. for the event that honors police officers within the tri-county area who died in 2016.

The run will begin at noon and will proceed to Guilford Lake Grill, 7094 E. Lake Road, Lisbon. Activities will be offered at the grill from 1 to 6 p.m., including a basket auction and 50-50 raffle.

Cost to participate is $15. All donations and proceeds will benefit the Fallen Officers Memorial Fund.
