Arsonist burns West Evergreen Avenue home

YOUNGSTOWN — Fire reports said arson is the cause of a blaze about 2:20 a.m. today at a vacant 448 W. Evergreen Ave. home.

One firefighter was slightly injured but refused treatment, reports said.

Reports said when firefighters arrived they found a heavy fire inside the home. The fire was called in by a next door neighbor, reports said.

Damage is listed at $3,000.
