Oil spill shuts down piece of Gypsy Lane

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are blocking off the state Route 711 connector at Gypsy Lane and Belmont Avenue because of an oil spill.

Firefighters are asking for a truck full of sand to help sop up the oil, a spokesman for the police department said.

Details of what caused the spill are not known.
