East High students can take STEM, dance and music classes this school year

YOUNGSTOWN — East High School students will have the opportunity this year to take STEM, dance and music classes.

"We've worked hard to level the playing field and to give students the same opportunities regardless of what school they go to," said Krish Mohip, school district chief executive officer.

Mohip announced the new offerings at today's school board meeting.

Those classes had been offered only at the Chaney Campus on the city's West Side.
