Woman hospitalized after early morning stabbing

YOUNGSTOWN — A 22-year-old woman told police she was stabbed on her front porch about 3:10 a.m. today.

The woman said she was on her porch in the 3400 block of Powers Way when someone in all black clothing and wearing a ski mask appeared on her porch and stabbed her in the left thigh.

The woman ran into her home and called 911, reports said. Reports said the victim told police a former boyfriend has been stalking her recently.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for treatment.
