SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR | Talmer Bank and Trust recently donated $2,500 to Northeast Ohio Adoption Services for the creation of a Talmer Kids’ Activity Room which will feature an activity table, television, tablets, games and therapeutic activities for children ages 10 and under. The room will be used when children at NOAS are in transfer, for official meetings, and as a gathering place for a Parent Resource Group that offers training, mentorship and support for foster and adoptive parents while children are provided dinner, activities and child care. NOAS relies on donations and fundraising to recruit and prepare families to foster or adopt; the facility does not charge fees for placement. For information on supporting NOAS, visit www.noas.com or call 330-856-5582, ext. 126, to receive an information packet.
