‘Change bandits’ sought for benefit

Recruitment is underway for Miracle Maker change bandits to assist with pre-event fundraising for the eighth annual Miracles and Promises Radiothon that benefits Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

The Radiothon, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 21, 22, 23, is broadcast live on Mix 98.9 and 570 WKBN from the hospital’s Beeghly campus in Boardman. All of the funds raised benefit children and families in the Mahoning Valley.

Change bandits, individuals, families, businesses, schools, and civic and community organizations, can create their own fundraising activities.

A kit containing a fund-raising guide and necessary materials is delivered to all participants. Register to become a change bandit at www.miraclesandpromises.org or by contacting JoAnn Stock at 330-746-9122.
