Poland marching band invites alums to perform

The Poland Seminary High School Marching Band invites alumni to perform with the band Sept. 9.

The alumni band will perform before the football game that night, and during halftime. Former flag-line members and majorettes also are invited to take part in the show.

The show will take place at the 7 p.m. game against Jefferson Area High School. A rehearsal will take place before the game at 4 p.m.

During the game, the alumni band is invited to sit in the bandstands in the end zone.

In addition to the performance, event organizers are arranging a welcome reception and tour at the high school before the game, as well as a post-game get-together at a local restaurant.

Anyone who is interested in playing in the alumni band is asked to fill out a questionnaire, a link to which is available at the PSHS Marching Band Alumni Facebook page.
