CANFIELD

Edward and Michele Straub of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Megan Straub, also of Canfield, to Daniel Szczepinski of Chesterland, Ohio. The parents of the future groom are Robert J. and Lynn Szczepinski of Chesterland.

Invitations will be issued for the Feb. 4, 2017, ceremony at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Church, Boardman, and for a reception at the Lake Club in Poland.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from University of Mount Union and a master’s degree in education and applied behavior analysis from the University of Cincinnati. She is an intervention specialist at KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center in Twinsburg, Ohio.

The prospective groom graduated from UMU with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He works for Enterprise Holdings in Cleveland as a territory account manager.
